Texas Our Texas

For the next two weeks we will be learning many things about Texas. We will learn about the state symbols, how to locate Texas on a US map, and landforms in Texas.
We are also learning about the attributes of 2D and 3D shapes.
We finished our Stuffed Animal Collection last week. We collected 249 animals for the Coppell Fire and Police departments. Thanks to everyone who helped.
This Wednesday is our field trip to the Dallas Museum of Science. Students should wear their trailblazer shirts, and bring a lunch and drink in a sack. No lunch boxes please.
We will leave the school at 8:30 and should return around 2:30.
Open House is next week on March 8 from 6-7pm. It will be followed by a 5th grade program. I hope to see all of you here then.
