Week 15 & 16 Blessings

Last week was a great week for us. The Culture Presentations were fun to watch and we learned a lot about the cultures of others. Our Multi-Cultural Food Festival was amazing, with so many great foods from all our 3rd grade families different cultures. Thank you all for making this a success.

This coming week is filled with anticipation of the coming holidays. We are going to try to have fun and learn some important things along the way.

Reading- Retelling a story. What do we include when we retell a story?
Writing/L.A.- Review- What makes a good paragraph?
Math- Review- Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction, Place Value
Social Studies- Map Skills- The U.S.- locating cities & states
Science- Review- Force & Motion

I hold in my thoughts and prayers all the families of the students & teachers who lost their lives on Friday. I think about my own class and school and I hope you know that when your children are with me they are mine, and I would do anything to keep them safe from harm.

I hope you can all come out this afternoon to hear the DCE Staff Caroling. I will send an email with times & locations.
